❖ Our library was established in the year 1986 along with the establishment of our college. Currently, the library has a rich collection of about 10,000 books. To improve the efficiency, accuracy and speed of the library workflow, the library is automated with e-granthalaya software. The bibliographical details of each book is catalogued so that books can be easily retrieved, circulated and maintained. The books are also barcoded which contains details of accession number and call number of the books for faster circulation and easy arrangement. The library has subscriptions of NLIST to facilitate users with e-resources. Users can access more than 6000 journals and more than 50000 e-books by this portal. Govt. Vivekanand College Library caters to the information needs of the faculty members, students, research scholars and staffs. Library collections comprise printed documents such as books, reports, theses. This Library is presently a member of INFLIBNET. It has been subscribing e- journals of various digital Libraries.
